Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is an upcoming Indian biographical drama film in 2022. Though, this movie is based on the life of Nambi Narayanan. He is a former scientist and aerospace engineer of the Indian Space Research Organisation. Unfortunately, he was falsely accused of espionage. Moreover, The film began its pre-production works in early-2017 with Anant Mahadevan initially reported to direct the film.

Rocketry: The Nambi Effect 2022 is written, produced, and directed by R. Madhavan, who is also playing the titular lead role alongside Simran. The story spans Narayanan’s days as a graduate student at Princeton University, before exploring his work as a scientist and the false espionage charges placed upon him. Besides, The film is shot simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil, and English and will also be released in the Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.

Rocketry Movie Review 2022

Over the past few days, R Madhavan’s new movie has been in the headlines for being screened at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. However, do you know that the film is not part of the ‘Official Selection’ or even a part of the main festival? However, Madhavan’s new film still made it to the Marche du Film of the 75th Cannes Film Festival.

Earlier, a Twitter user tweeted that, “Learnt recently that you can basically rent theatres in Cannes and say your film premiered at Cannes. It is not part of the official Cannes jury selection. Madhavan’s Rocketry is one such example.”

Otherwise,  Director Dhoop Ashwini Twitter shared that, the movie was amazing and the team received standing ovations and applause from the audience. Sharing a video, he wrote, “Fab job Director Sahib Actor Madhavan. Big hug and huge congratulations from the team.”

Movie Production Information

Rocketry movie 2022 will be simultaneously released in six languages, Hindi, English, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, and Malayalam. Earlier, R Madhavan directed and wrote this film and  Tricolour Films and Varghese Moolan Pictures presented. Otherwise, Tricolour Films has also produced the project. Moreover,  It is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on 1 July 2022.

R Madhavan revealed that he and Narayanan had met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and discussed the film, in other words. For instance, he was shown specific clips from the film. Earlier Madhavan told that Modi expressed concern for the wrong done to Narayanan. “A few weeks ago, NambiNOfficial and I had the honor of calling on PM Narendra Modi. We spoke about the upcoming film Rocketry 2022 and were touched and honored by PM. His reaction to the clips and concern for Nambi Ji & the wrong done to him. Thank you for the privilege, sir,” Madhavan shared a picture of his and Nambi Narayanan’s meeting with PM Modi and wrote this.
