Bhediya 2022 is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language comedy horror film. Therefore, this film is directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan. Moreover, the film stars Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon. The film is the third installment in Dinesh Vijan’s horror-comedy universe. Most importantly, the film name Bhediya means Werewolf. Above all, the film will release theatrically worldwide on 25 November 2022.

Movie Production Information

The producer of the film, Dinesh Vijan, confirmed that Bhediya is part of his horror-comedy universe consisting of films like Stree, Roohi, and Munjha. The shooting for Bhediya is done in the regions of Arunachal Pradesh, Sagalee, and parts of Pakke-Kessang district- over a span of two months. Over 70 percent of the artists in Bhediya are from Arunachal Pradesh, including a lead character, named Jomin. Besides that, Arunachal rapper K4 Kheko will also feature in the film.

During the shooting schedule, Varun Dhawan and his wife, designer Natasha Dalal donated ₹1 lakh
to the victims of a massive fire in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tirap and Longding districts in April 2021. Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Pema Khandu also visited the set in Ziro. The shooting schedule in Arunachal Pradesh completed on 19 April 2021. The film is slated to release in cinemas on November 25, 2022.

Bhediya 2022 has been shot in the picturesque location of Arunachal Pradesh therefore the second schedule in Mumbai with all the safety precautions and a controlled environment. The makers released a special motion poster today announcing the film wrap.

The Mimi actress, Kriti Sanon, describes her role as something never attempted before. “It’s a very unique role, very tricky to play. It’s a world I’ve never inhabited. Bhediya is one of the most entertaining scripts that I’ve done so far. I was in splits when I heard it.”

Most importantly, she added, Kriti is physically transformed in Bhediya. “My look in the film is extremely unique. When you see me you will wonder, is that really Kriti? It’s good to experiment with different looks in different films.”
